Publix at Hollywood Beach

Located just 10 miles south of "The Yachting Capital of the World," Publix at Hollywood Beach offers a supermarket along the Intracoastal Waterway. The new $18 million, three-story retail location capitalizes on the additional captive audience: the boaters, who are often in need of groceries, ice, beverages, suntan lotion, and more.

GRAEF provided civil and coastal engineering to help Brandon Structures Inc. develop the new three-story Publix Supermarket which includes a convenient dock for boaters to cruise right up and get their supplies in Hollywood for their voyage on the water.

The waterfront store is built on a narrow, one-acre site of a vacant parking lot, and features two levels of garaged parking and the Publix Super Market on the third floor.
