GRAEF is proud to be a leader in the engineering and design community, but we are even more proud to be leaders in the communities in which we live. We are more than just a business. At GRAEF, we are committed to being community leaders and encourage giving and community service at each of our locations. Our tradition of community involvement can be seen through financial support of organizations such as Engineers Without Borders, Habitat for Humanity, and the United Way. We are happy to say that our employees have embraced volunteerism. We have staff members that give significantly of their personal time to the organizations listed above, as well as veterans' groups, family support and literacy groups, and humane efforts throughout the country. Our employees, who are vital to our professional success, are making a commitment to their neighbors and neighborhoods to make them a success!

Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer Foundation

Since 1961, when the three founders opened the doors of Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer & Associates, Inc., the firm has been providing design services with integrity, quality, employee loyalty and exceptional service to our clients as the core values.

While Graef, Anhalt Schloemer & Associates has been renamed GRAEF, the spirit of the founders lives on through the Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer Foundation.

The mission of the Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer Foundation is to support the future of Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) based careers, and to promote charitable endeavors related to engineering, planning and design.

The Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer Foundation annually awards college scholarships to Engineering majors. This is currently done at five universities. The Foundation also funds college design programs and competitions. It promotes diversity in the real estate business by its funding of scholarships to a professional development program aimed at minorities. The Foundation has also funded software for charitable firms designing and constructing infrastructure projects in underprivileged communities overseas.
