GRAEF expanded internationally into Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) with the acquisition of Coastal Design Engineering in March of 2022. Our TCI projects revolve around the coastal environment and include waterfront amenities, resort developments, coastal structures, beach nourishments, dredging, and environmental impact assessments.
Community Involvement
We work closely with the TCI Government on infrastructure and dredging projects to maintain the waterways around the Islands as well as with private islands, developers, and luxury homeowners to stabilize, maintain or build their beaches and add coastal amenities. Our clients value their local environment, and we work together to incorporate sustainable initiatives such as native vegetation, grey-water re-use, and butterfly gardens into projects wherever possible. We also work with our clients and on island teams to provide training to aid in developing local knowledge.
Work Hard, Play Hard
Whether it’s diving with humpback whales during their migration past the Islands, fishing, or wind surfing, our team enjoys getting out on the water. After the day is done, you can also find our TCI team grilling their local catch, out having a drink out at one of the beach bars, or simply relishing in the serene solitude and unspoiled nature of the islands.
