Lambeau Field Renovations

Lambeau Field is the third oldest facility in the National Football League and has been modified a number of times. GRAEF provided site/civil engineering and was the associate structural engineer for the $295 million renovation. The complex, phased project added 11,625 seats to the stadium, new luxury and press boxes, an upper concourse, and a large office/retail area called “Titletown.”

As site/civil engineer, GRAEF was responsible for utility relocation and enhancement, site improvements, stormwater detention and storm sewers, sanitary sewer design, new pavement design, and other site related design. The design process was complicated by the phased construction schedule, which extended over a three-year period to keep the stadium operational during football season and the Packers administrative offices operational year-round.

As associate structural engineer, GRAEF designed deep and shallow foundation systems for the entire stadium development, below grade structures, access tunnels, and a significant portion of the new Titletown addition.
