Orlando International Airport Parking Garages Lighting Retrofit
GRAEF provided electrical engineering services for a lighting retrofit project for 7,000,000 square feet of parking garages including the terminal top and landscape areas between Garages A and B at Orlando International Airport.
Work included on-site analysis, data collection, field verification of existing electrical distribution and emergency lighting systems, and research. A main focus of this analysis was to provide the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority with energy-efficient alternatives. GRAEF provided a detailed report and presentation of findings to the Authority which included fixture alternatives and recommendations.
GRAEF engineers then prepared construction documents based on the recommended solutions selected by the Authority. These documents included detailed bid plans and specifications as well as probable construction costs. GRAEF is also assisting the Authority in the permitting, bidding and contractor award, and construction administration for this project.
