Door County Medical Center
The Door County Medical Center (DCMC) is a $15 million, 30,000-square-foot facility located in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. The new medical center replaces the previous Fish Creek facility, allowing all services to be located in one place. Previously, patients had to travel to the DCMC clinic in Sturgeon Bay for services such as audiology and cardiology. The Sister Bay clinic has the capability to host both of those specialty services, as well as provide primary care, behavioral health, diabetes education, OB-GYN, orthopedic services and podiatry.
Designed to embody the cozy ambiance of a welcoming home’s front porch, the second-story patio accommodates an array of elements, including tables, comfortable seating areas, and a dedicated area devoted to rehabilitation programs encompassing walking and yoga, fostering an avenue for holistic health engagement with the community. In addition to rehab and clinician services, the building will also house a pharmacy for patients and the wider public.
