Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital

Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital redeveloped their 20-acre campus downtown Milwaukee, consolidating St. Mary’s and Columbia campuses into a single, new facility on a prominent site overlooking Lake Michigan. The hospital is filled with natural light and offers views of the lake in 80 percent of the patient rooms. The 670,000-square-foot, 513-bed hospital and two new parking structures cost $417 million. The overall project included two new medical office buildings.

GRAEF provided site/civil services and surveying for the entire project, including roadway and utility design, and stormwater management. GRAEF also provided structural engineering for Prospect Medical Commons medical office building and the central utility plant.
