WisDOT WIS 50 Paddock Lake Construction Management

WisDOT WIS 50 Paddock Lake Construction Management

This project consisted of a 1.7-mile full reconstruction of WIS 50 (75th Street) through the Village of Paddock Lake.  The work includes 2 cast-in-place retaining walls and several block gravity walls.  New larger storm sewer was installed along with a large storm water detention pond.  The roadway embankment was excavated out with a “freeway style” section installed using select crushed material below crushed aggregate base course and 9.5” of concrete pavement.  A 5’ wide bike lane was added to the roadway as well as wider sidewalks in many areas. All work was done under several traffic pattern stages utilizing crossovers at each end of the village.

GRAEF provided all aspects of construction management services on this project including:

  • Cast-in-place retaining walls
  • Storm sewers
  • Watermain adjustments/relocations
  • Gravity wall modular block with cast-in-place coping
  • Concrete pavement
  • HMA pavement
  • Monotube signal installation
  • Utility coordination
