Village of Germantown DPW Facility Named American Public Works Association Wisconsin Project of the Year

The Village of Germantown continues to earn accolades for its forward-thinking investment in public infrastructure. The latest recognition comes from the American Public Works Association (APWA) Wisconsin Chapter, which has named Germantown’s new Department of Public Works Facility its Project of the Year.

This award adds to the growing list of honors for the facility, which consolidates the Village’s operations—public works offices, salt storage, fleet maintenance, fueling station, and more—into one highly efficient and sustainable campus. The project reflects Germantown’s commitment to long-term community service, modern infrastructure, and responsible growth.

As the largest capital project in the Village’s history, the Public Works Facility was developed in partnership with GRAEF and other key contributors. With its thoughtful design and strategic planning, the facility is already setting a new standard for municipal infrastructure in Wisconsin.
