Two GRAEF Projects Receive 2026 ACEC Wisconsin Engineering Excellence Awards

GRAEF is proud to announce that the Lapham Lodge at Lapham Peak and the Village of Germantown Department of Public Works Facility have been recognized by ACEC Wisconsin with Engineering Excellence Awards. These honors celebrate projects that demonstrate exceptional design, innovation, and problem‑solving while advancing Wisconsin’s infrastructure, public safety, and economic growth.

The Lapham Lodge at Lapham Peak

Through a strong partnership between GRAEF and our client, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, our team transformed Lapham Peak’s outdated accommodations into a modern, sustainable lodge that enhances visitor experiences and supports year‑round recreation. The community‑driven project expanded amenities, improved park systems, and established a model for efficient public project delivery across Wisconsin.

Village of Germantown Department of Public Works Facility

After struggling with outdated infrastructure and failed prior designs, the Village of Germantown partnered with GRAEF to deliver a modern, efficient Department of Public Works facility through a collaborative Design‑Build approach. The result is an energy‑efficient, fully integrated operation that improves functionality, reduces costs, and positions the Village for decades of reliable service.
