Quad Graphics
Since 1982, GRAEF has provided ongoing engineering services for Quad, one of the largest printers of magazines, catalogs, books, and commercial materials in North America.
The company is headquartered in a 1.5 million-square-foot facility in Sussex, WI, where GRAEF has provided civil, structural, and MEP engineering services along with architectural design for several buildings across the Quad campus.
The flagship campus is not only a production facility but also the corporate offices of the printing giant. GRAEF helped Quad through its growth stages by providing spaces not only for production and storage, but also large conference spaces, dining and collaboration spaces, and offices fitting a Fortune 500 company.
Other high-level amenities not found at other facilities that Quad provides its employees include a daycare, on-site medical and dental services, a high-level fitness center, and outdoor recreational areas that would rival many parks.
