The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) named Paul Eiring as the 2021 Engineer in Consulting Practice Merit Award Recipient. Individual civil engineering achievement within the State of Wisconsin is recognized annually by awarding the Individual Merit Award.

At GRAEF, Paul is known as an intelligent yet humble leader. In GRAEF’s early beginnings, Paul was active in the company’s discipline diversification, helping lead the team towards adding civil and municipal engineering to its services. His career experience has also led him to be a sought-after mentor and teacher to GRAEF staff, sharing vast distinctive knowledge and helping develop company leaders. Paul not only exceeds in skill but has a depth of emotional intelligence. He finds value in showing “the why”, getting to know our young staff, and reminding them of the importance of work-life balance.

Paul’s most significant contribution is his work for municipal institutions throughout the state of Wisconsin. Over the course of his career, he has become a trusted advisor among clients within many communities, offering them a thorough cross-section of municipal practices and a clear understanding of how to
determine each municipality’s needs.
