Milwaukee's Next High-Rise Breaks Ground
GRAEF is providing civil engineering, landscape architecture and created the scope design for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering (MEPFP) on The Couture.
Nearly nine years after it was publicly proposed, The Couture apartment high-rise staged its groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday overlooking Lake Michigan in downtown Milwaukee.
Construction started in May on the 44-story Couture, which is being built at 909 E. Michigan St.
Barrett Lo Visionary Development LLC's timetable calls for a structure to be rising by early 2022, with completion anticipated by fall 2023.
