Lake Eva Park
Lake Eva Park in Haines City, Florida is an expansion and renovation of existing buildings as well as several new building structures. The 28-acre site was completed in July 2009, in time for the local 4th of July celebration. The site includes a new, 9,000-square-foot maintenance building; a new building with an aquatic park that consists of pool, showers, and lockers; pool equipment room; air-conditioned baseball concession stand and office space; a 5,600-square-foot addition and 1,200-square-foot renovation to an existing community center building; a new, 21,500-square-foot banquet hall; a new outdoor bandshell/stage for entertainment; a new 400-square-foot building for office, sales area, storage, a restroom, and vending machines outside; and a new 800-square-foot restroom facility. GRAEF engineered the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection services of this project. Construction cost was approximately $28 million.
