GRAEF Celebrates Newly Elected Principal and Associates

GRAEF is proud to announce the recent election of one new principal and seven new associates.

Our principals are recognized for excellence and significantly contributing to the success of the firm. Our associates demonstrate consistent excellence in the performance of their duties. Congratulations!

Principal

Paul Andersen, Structural Technician Team Leader

Paul is a three-time President's Award winner at GRAEF, providing outstanding leadership for the firm's BIM and CAD platforms. He has served as an instructor for Autodesk University and Marquette University's Revit Structure Lab. He has been an important part of many of GRAEF's keynote projects including large healthcare facilities, Lambeau Field renovations, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and the Grand Avenue redevelopment in Milwaukee.

 

Associates

Jenny Christel, Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources, Jenny has been an influential and important leader as GRAEF navigated the recent global pandemic and rising racial awareness issues.
Her ability to address many unknowns, while successfully maintaining a work-friendly experience for employees, has been a true benefit to the firm.

 

Ryan Cournoyer, Construction Team Practice Area Leader

Ryan has represented GRAEF on some of the firm's highest profile construction management projects including the Zoo Interchange and Rawson Avenue in Milwaukee. He is thoughtful and strategic in his decision making and has a great no-nonsense approach that is critically important in the construction industry. He will continue to be a key part of GRAEF's success in serving WisDOT and the municipal community in the coming years.

 

Travis DuFour PE SE, Structural Engineer

Travis is a skilled structural engineer with the ability to work in multiple structural systems from steel to concrete to wood. He has been a key player in GRAEF's continued project experiences with major clients, as well as design expertise in corporate offices, commercial facilities, and residential facilities.

 

Maggie Fortmann, Milwaukee Administrative Services Manager

Maggie is the driving force behind the everyday success of GRAEF. As the Milwaukee Administrative Services Manager, she makes sure that the entire company has the tools and spaces necessary to serve our clients and each other on a daily basis. Her coordination and organizational skills are unsurpassed and her leadership is key to the exceptional culture at GRAEF. We are exceptionally proud to have her as part of the team!

 

Craig Hansen PLS, Survey Manager

Craig leads the survey team in GRAEF's Green Bay office, providing leadership on a variety of projects from transportation designs to municipal and commercial facilities to utilities and industrial sites. He is well-versed in boundary surveys and platting for roads and utilities to LiDAR scanning and bathometric surveys. We look forward to Craig continuing his survey leadership role.

 

Craig Huebner AICP, Urban Designer

Craig has a background in both architecture and urban planning, making him a double threat! His role on projects throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest have helped communities move forward in ways that benefit the people, the economy, and the history of an area! Whether a detailed site analysis, a comprehensive plan, or a community engagement strategy, Craig brings a positive and forward-thinking experience to every project.

 

Jay Jensen, Architectural Designer

Jay's experience in the world of architectural design, BIM, 3D modeling, and photorealistic computer rendering and animations make him an exciting part of many projects. When Jay is involved, clients use his visuals and videos to easily envision the end-result of a project. He has used his talent to visualize details for small site to large and complex projects for commercial, cultural, industrial, and transportation projects. Jay is also a President's Award winner at GRAEF.
