GRAEF is thrilled to share that the Froedtert Hospital Parking Blue Structure has been recognized as the 2026 Innovative Facility of the Year by National Parking Association (NPA).

The Blue Parking structure at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee sets a new standard for healthcare parking by combining sustainable design, intuitive circulation, and an enhanced user experience. The five-level, 2,400-stall facility features smart wayfinding, low-carbon construction practices, and systems that reduce vehicle idling and emissions. Architectural elements, including translucent glass shingles and durable stainless-steel framing, provide daylight, privacy, ventilation, and long-term performance. Unique features such as an internal traffic circle, separated pedestrian pathways, direct hospital access, EV charging stations, and bicycle accommodations further improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
