Contributing to our communities in ways that make the world a fair and just place for all.

We are a nation in struggle.  We have been struggling through the COVID-19 pandemic, and now we are struggling with another painful matter of racism and injustice, after the unjust and tragic death of Mr. George Floyd. Like many of you, I have watched the disturbing images from Minneapolis and elsewhere over the last week. I have seen protests seeking justice for Mr. Floyd first-hand  here in Milwaukee, and watched on TV as peaceful protests devolved into violent unrest. Many of the communities that we call home have been affected.

GRAEF is committed to equity and fairness in all our business dealings (internal and external,) regardless of race, religion, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability or handicap. This is not a passive commitment on our part but an active part of our core culture here at GRAEF. As an active part of the communities that we call home, we must call for an end to unjust behavior wherever it comes from.

I hope that we can all use this time of unrest to reflect on and commit to contributing to our communities in ways that make the world a fair and just place for all. We must all put our differences aside and work together to solve the serious problems that we face as a society.
