Chicago Park District Park 510

GRAEF was hired by the Chicago Park Department (CPD) to complete the site design for the Park 510 redesign. The design of this three-acre site included site plans, detailed grading plans, drainage plans and construction details for the artificial turf athletic field. The site was enrolled in the Site Restoration Program and GRAEF provided the remediation plan, acquired necessary permits and provided observation of contaminated soil removal during construction.

Additionally, as part of the design process, GRAEF coordinated with all affected City agencies including CDOT and the Department of Water Management as well as all involved utility companies.

This project received LEED® Silver certification.
