GRAEF is excited to announce that Pat Kressin has been named the firm’s new President, marking the start of the fourth generation of leadership at GRAEF.

Kressin, a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, has been with GRAEF since 1995. Throughout his nearly 30-year career, he has been instrumental in the successful delivery of numerous landmark projects, including the redevelopment of BAYSHORE, the Komatsu South Harbor Campus, Discovery World, and the Milwaukee Art Museum, among others. Pat has led Business Development for the firm in WI, IL, MN and FL. His focus on innovative, client-centric solutions has solidified GRAEF’s reputation as a trusted partner across a wide range of industries.

“It’s an incredible honor to lead this exceptional firm and continue building on GRAEF’s remarkable legacy,” said Kressin. “I look forward to working with our talented team to explore new opportunities, deliver impactful projects, and shape the future of GRAEF.”

Kressin will officially assume his role as President on January 1, 2025. He will succeed John Kissinger, who will continue as CEO until his retirement. At that time, Kressin will also take on both President and CEO titles.

“Pat’s dedication to our clients and his forward-thinking vision have been apparent throughout his career,” said John Kissinger. “I have no doubt he will continue to drive GRAEF’s growth and uphold the values that have defined our success.”

As GRAEF transitions to new leadership, the firm also takes this moment to recognize Kissinger’s outstanding contributions for over a decade. Under John’s guidance, GRAEF has expanded its footprint, to 10 offices nationwide, strengthened client relationships, and cultivated a culture of collaboration, quality, and exceptional client service. During this time, GRAEF has been awarded numerous local and national “Best Places to Work” and “Top Workplace” awards.

“We are deeply grateful for John’s leadership and vision,” said Kressin. “His legacy will continue to inspire us as we embark on this next chapter.”
