Tammy Pearce Named Crain's Chicago 40 Under 40 Class

GRAEF is extremely proud to announce Tammy Pearce’s selection as one of Crain’s 40 under 40, Class of 2024. This program spotlights Chicago’s rising stars in leadership across numerous industries. This award highlights Tammy’s remarkable impact on the engineering industry as well as her influence and leadership at GRAEF and in the city of Chicago.

Tammy has been a structural designer for 15 years, with a wide range of experience across projects varying from MLB stadium renovations to community recreational facility design. Overall, her favorite projects have been those with strong community impact and focus on bringing resources to underprivileged areas. Her passion for building and creating stems from watching her father’s life’s work of carpentry and electrical work. She dedicates much of her time to inspiring young talent both internally at GRAEF, and in her community to encourage curiosity and lifelong learning.

At GRAEF, much of our strength lies in our people, and Tammy’s contributions to growing and fostering a more inclusive and diverse workplace are key to the firm’s continued success. She serves as a chair on GRAEF’s corporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, and passionately raises awareness about STEM fields, particularly among underserved communities. Her efforts aim to inspire and empower the next generation of diverse professionals in engineering and related disciplines.

Please join us in congratulating Tammy on her recognition in the Crain’s 40 Under 40, and celebrating all her success to come.
