Parking Today Magazine Features GRAEF Project National magazine lauds GRAEF’s work on Milwaukee Bucks parking structure
The 5th Street Parking Structure that GRAEF designed to serve the Milwaukee Bucks’ Fiserv Forum is featured in a national magazine devoted to the parking garage industry.
The downtown Milwaukee structure is profiled in the “Facilities Spotlight” in the November issue of Parking Magazine.
When the Bucks opened their new arena in 2018, they needed a parking garage that could fill and empty quickly for special events.
They got that with the new structure, which features several reversible entry/exit lanes and an express ramp that allows customers to easily find a parking space and quickly leave the garage after the event.
The capstone of the structure is a large LED video display board silhouetted against the city’s skyline that the Bucks use to promote the team.
GRAEF managed the construction project and provided the engineering design for the structure.
The information for the magazine article was provided by Dewey Hemba, structural engineer, project manager and principal at GRAEF.
