MSOE Viets Field
Viets Field, an NCAA Division III competition field for soccer, lacrosse and club sports, is home to MSOE men's and women's soccer and lacrosse and provides outdoor practice space to other teams and clubs on campus.
GRAEF was part of a collaborative design team responsible for the design and engineering of a unique synthetic turf soccer field placed on the top level of a 780-car parking structure.
The design and engineering incorporated a waterproofing system, membrane, and horizontal drainage system to allow the synthetic turf to be installed while minimizing additional weight requirements for the structure.
Viets Field is the first all-LED lit competition field in the United States.
