With over 25 years of private and public experience as a professional engineer, her career includes working as an engineering consultant in the private sector and working in the public sector for the Lake County Stormwater Management Commission and the McHenry County Department of Planning & Development.
Joanna has been involved in a wide variety of projects including floodplain and stormwater management, civil site design, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses of riverine and urban drainage systems, regulatory permitting and enforcement, construction monitoring, and wetland delineations.
Fun Fact: I’ve been to the southernmost endpoint of the world's longest motorway, National Route 3, and the conclusion of the iconic Pan-American Highway in Bahía Lapataia, Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina.
