Signature Flight Support O’Hare Terminal

GRAEF provided civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying services for the construction of a new terminal. The new terminal contains a large lobby, management offices, a conference room, crew lounge, Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Bay, VIP Lounge, restroom facilities with showers, and parking for 149 cars. The project also included the relocation of an existing fuel farm and associated site work at O’Hare International Airport for Signature Flight Support

The civil design included storm water calculations and design and coordination as required for the fuel farm design, including layout and design of the concrete pad, curbing, and bollards.  The design also had to meet the The landscape architecture elements associated with the development of this project included the streetscape and parking lot areas as well as manicured turf and associated planting to meet the municipal requirements.
