GRAEF was retained to provide project management, including resident inspection services, as well as necessary engineering functions for a major rehabilitation of a large industrial complex.
The project involved the rehabilitation of approximately 25 percent of 14.5 acres. Specific services provided by GRAEF include:
Management of three design contracts, 48 construction contracts and related work that was design by owner-hired design teams.
Project management, scheduling coordination, cost estimating, contract administration, change order negotiations and testing coordination.
Resident project representation for site/civil work, architectural renovations, structural floor repair and costings.
Renovations including fire doors, the sprinkler system, major HVAC repairs including installation of new boilers and controls, energy efficient insulation and siding wall coverings, electrical repairs, including substation and power transmission throughout the buildings, computer control room, controls, and process work.
